Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our historically accurate garments and accessories.
What is the typical lead time for custom-tailored garments?
Most of our handcrafted historical garments are made to order and typically ship within 4 to 6 weeks. Please check individual product pages for specific production timelines.
How do I ensure I am ordering the correct historical size?
Historical sizing often differs from modern vanity sizing. We recommend taking actual body measurements with a cloth tape measure and comparing them to our detailed size charts located on each product page.
Do you offer international shipping for global reenactors?
Yes, we ship our historical reproductions worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery estimates are calculated at checkout based on your destination and the weight of the items.
What is your return policy for historical clothing?
We accept returns on unworn, unwashed standard-sized items within 30 days of delivery. Please note that custom-tailored pieces and intimate apparel are final sale and cannot be returned.
What materials do you use for your 18th and 19th-century reproductions?
We pride ourselves on authenticity, using period-appropriate materials such as 100% linen, wool, and cotton. All hardware, such as buttons and buckles, is selected to match historical standards.
Can I request a modification to an existing design?
We often accommodate minor requests for fabric or trim changes. Please contact our tailoring team via the 'Custom Request' form before placing your order to discuss feasibility and pricing.
