Spiced Bergamot Summer Toddy
Summer toddies are a cool and refreshing treat on a lazy afternoon or warm evening.Enjoy with or without alcohol.
Quantity: 1.5 oz Spices - Brews up to 1 Gallon
Ingredients: Cinnamon Sticks, Black Tea, Ginger, Lemon Peel, Cloves, Bergamot
For 4 servings: Boil 4 cups of water. Add 1 tablespoon of spice blend and cinnamon sticks (to taste) to muslin bag. Steep 8-10 minutes then remove spice bag. Add honey to taste. Refrigerate overnight or add ice to cool. Pour in tumblers filled with ice, stir in 2 oz of Rye Whiskey to each glass add a splash of Orange Bitters. Garnish with Orange.
